De doodsstrijd van een neonbuis
gaat met gebonk gepaard
en bliksemschichten

Stervende als een zon zendt hij
steeds zwakkere signalen uit
Zijn nood is minstens
zo aangrijpend

En dan al die eonen nog
voordat ook hij als lichtend
hemellichaam is gedoofd!
